Please don’t make the same mistake about autoresponders and collecting names and email addresses so that you can continue to promote to people.

I remember it well and it goes all the way back to about 2003 when I met a guy who needed a web site build. His name is Bob and we became great online friends.

Bob had some great advice but I can be pretty thick sometimes and just let it go in one ear and right out the other, as my dad would say.

What did Bob tell me? Collect Names And Emails

Yup Bob advised me, years ago, to collect names and emails instead of just making sales, but I chose not to go that route and continued to work my butt off making one sale at a time.

I told myself I wasn’t looking to make millions, just a good living, so I didn’t need to collect names. I really don’t know what made me think like that but it wasn’t too bright was it.

I think I even looked at collecting names as a way to spam people. I guess that thinking came from being on the wrong lists myself and getting spammed day after day.

I couldn’t begin to tell you how many people I let slide through my fingers and really I don’t want to think about that now. Even the ones that purchased from me were gone after that first purchase. No backend sales for me.

After years of struggling to make sales I found The Affiliate Code video training and Michael opened my eyes, finally.

Start Building Your List of Niche Related Buyers NOW

Taking the time to setup an autoresponder and a series of followups takes time but it’s time that is well spent. I didn’t feel I needed to do that because I was making sales.

I use Aweber for all my autoresponder series now. It just makes good sense to save those people that are interested in what you have to offer, so collect those names and emails but make sure you keep them in the niche they signed up for so you aren’t spamming them.

Hind site is 20/20 they say and now I can see clearly just how much money I have flushed because of NOT collecting names and emails.

I really couldn’t begin to tell you how many people I have let slip through my fingers because I thought it was going to be too much work getting an autoresponder system up and running.

It took me about 3 minutes to signup to Aweber and I even got my first month for just $1.00. Setting up my autoresponder was an easy step by step process Aweber guided me through.

All the months and years I ignored autoresponders just because I was afraid I couldn’t do it. Sad isn’t it, well don’t be like that, it’s a whole lot easier than one might think.

No sense crying over spilt milk. I am just happy that I finally saw the light that is autoresponders and am now collecting names.

Maybe They Won’t Buy Today But…

This part is really cool. I have had far more people not buy from me as my conversion rate was only about 1-3% but now that I use forms and squeeze pages to collect names I am making far more money.

When I send my lists emails for products I am sending to lists where people actually requested to join the list so they are very targeted and that has done wonders for my conversion rate.

So, don’t do as I did but instead do as I say and get started collecting names and emails my friend and you can come back here and leave me a comment telling me how it’s working for you.

Get over to Aweber and check it out.

It’s great to work from home and earn money affiliate marketing. For me personally affiliate marketing has given me the most earning online. It sure beats having to meet people face to face and dealing with customers. Not that I hate people but it’s so much easier letting the affiliate program owner deal with affiliates while I earn commission.

No Shipping Required On My Part

No dealing with products means I don’t have to have stock. I also don’t have to ship anything, which can be a pain in the behind as I found when I tried buying products to sell and ship myself. A whole lot of work.

I did enjoy the money I earned doing it all myself but once I found out about affiliate marketing I realized I would have so much more time to focus on marketing products for others. No storage or shipping saved me time and I made more money.

I don’t suggest you quit your day job to work from home like I did because I had a few times when I was ready to give it all up and go back to working for someone else. Instead I should have started affiliate marketing from home in my spare time and build it to the point I could quit my day job.

All you need is one good niche to market to properly and you can make a great living online. Starting multiple streams of income with various niches can make you richer than you ever dreamed but it all has to start with that first sale.

Work From Home Working Your Passions

I have about 20 web sites on the go at any given time. Most of these sites are outside of my range of expertise which is fine and I make money with them but I have the most fun and the least amount of writers block with the web sites that revolve around my passions, or hobbies and interests.

I’ll admit that I didn’t do much research on niches my hobbies fall into. I guess I was quite fortunate with them as they were all niches that I spend money on.

The main thing about making money with my hobbies was the words I chose to focus on. I didn’t focus on money words I just wrote about my experiences and still made money, just not a lot of it.

Later I learned that with a bit of research I could find keywords that got me far more traffic without any more effort in writing. The only thing that changed was the words I used to express myself. Money words.

Spending just a little bit of time before you start writing and focusing on a few search engine optimization tactics that are pretty simple made the difference between earning pennies per click and real money, on a regular basis.

I make most of my money through affiliate marketing and have found that The Affiliate Code video course from Michael Jones to be a great source of good information and guidance.

Once I started following Michael’s advice and tips it was easy to make more money, faster. The fact that the training is all on videos was a bonus because I do so much better when someone shows me how to succeed using video.

Work At Home Tips For One Way Link Building

The lower the budget allocated to web marketing design, the fewer the chances to get a professional for the job. Most businesses do have a budget, but if what you are ready to pay seems to be way below what various web designers quote for the same task, then, you could be asking too much for too little. Pricing has some very peculiar rules, and it is not a good idea to go for the highest quote either. You have to get good web design and a link building service without paying a fortune. Here are a few things you should know about the financial details of web marketing design.

First of all, you’ll probably come across free web marketing design services, and although they sound tempting, they could be tricky in terms of quality. Or in case you want to find a volunteer to build your site and to start an effective link building campaign, that will be even harder to get, in the conditions of a very tough market where time and money rule. Low rates for web marketing design are up to $10 per page, which can tell two things about the business: the quality provided for so little money is low, or the provider is a freelancer eager to make a name in the field, and has troubles entering the market.

Quotes that vary between $25 and $50 are moderate but realistic, and you can buy quality web marketing design for this kind of money. Prices may be higher for advanced graphics, content writing and special programming. There are even rates like $500 per page, which is a sheer fortune and seldom justify the type of services involved. Programming ought to explain this expensive price, although it doesn’t. Some services like one way link building require up-front payment. However, if the sum is low, then the payment is one of good faith, but if you are asked for half the sum in advance, don’t pay it because it could be a scam.

Remember that signing a contract makes any web marketing design agreement formal and legal. Dates, deadlines, estimated costs, litigation measures and various other issues should be clearly stipulated. It is important to discuss the way work would be handled in case the initial cost estimate is not correct, and you have to pay for more. Some web marketing design companies have standard contracts, but you should be able to work things out with them if something does not please you. If the web designers are not willing to make the changes, then, you should consider working with someone else.
