1. I Write Down All My Ideas

For the longest time I would get ideas that would just come and go. If I didn’t write them down I may never think of them again. Eventually I started carrying a pad and pen with me so I could write those money making ideas down for future use.

2. Niche Focused Magazines For Ideas

Magazines are one of my best methods for coming up with fresh ideas for my blogs. I make a list of my niches and give them to family members as suggestions for Christmas and birthdays, so when I am hurting for an article I can open one of my magazines and refresh my mind.

I am not suggesting you copy the content, that would be very wrong but there is nothing wrong with using them to trigger ideas of your own. Put things in your own words and mix it up a bit so that you have unique but keyword focused content.

3. Take Part In Niche Forums

The forums that exist within your niche can be a great help and full of ideas you can spin into your own content that’s still yours and unique. But Be Forewarned as forums can be really addictive and a lot of time gets wasted just chatting and hanging around.

Get in, get out and get publishing. You can visit the forums again when your work for the day is complete. I used to spend some late nights on forums where I worked during the day and then returned to chat and goof off all night.

Sadly many authors and blog owners only care about getting content out there pointing back to their web pages and will allow quality to suffer to achieve quantity. 4. Please Take Time To Check Your Spelling And Grammar. I don’t always get it right, a few typos can slip through and my grammar isn’t always the best but I at least try. Too many articles today on the article networks are just too poorly written to accept, mostly due to typing errors and very bad grammar.
5. Articles Need To Be Keyworded And Catchy. When I look through the titles for articles to accept or reject I instantly check the ones with BAD titles. The title is almost the most important part of your article. It’s what the search engines show in the search results. If it sucks it’s not likely to get accepted.

Pick the right niche and you will find there is earning potential for years to come. And don’t let people tell you there is no money in writing about hobbies.

If you’re new to article marketing you will find that writing just one article may not get you much traffic but do things right and you can get tons of target traffic.

First you need to find what’s selling in the niches you have interest in. For me that was mostly fishing, gardening and learning and playing guitar. Once I had the niches I used what ever tools I could find to research keywords and phrase I could make money with.

If you want to be most effective with your article marketing efforts focus on your keyword research before you start writing.

Don’t make the mistake of assuming the top keywords are your best keywords. I spent a long time spinning my wheels trying to get traffic for top keywords until I learned that those keywords could take years to rank for.

One Needs To Find Keywords To Rank For

Don’t just focus on one keyword phrase as it’s tough to make good money with just one phrase. Instead, over time, create articles that cover a variety of keyword phrases but only focus on one, maybe two keywords per articles so as not to dilute your content keywords or focus.

Include Keyworded Sub Headings

I see so many articles that just run on and on without sub headings and that’s a mistake in more ways that one. Sub heading give your article structure plus it helps in search engine rankings if you keyword the sub headings. For me it makes it easier to scan the article for what I want.

Convert Articles Into Videos

Why stop with the written word. Taking your articles and converting them into audio files or even video files is one awesome way of getting even more readers. If you give me a choice of listening to an audio, watching a video or reading an article I would most often pick the video. I prefer hearing the written word and a picture can say a thousand words but a video can just take it over the top. I tend to learn so much faster from video.

Big Tip: What you don’t want to do is make a video that just shows the article text and plays some music in the background. Those are most annoying. It’s much better to read the article out-loud so your visitor doesn’t have to.

Break Your Article Into Part One And Two

Sometimes I write short articles but most of the time I end up with 1200 words or more. People don’t want to read an article that size in one sitting. For this reason it’s much better for you if you break it up into parts and publish them separately. The same thing applies to your videos.
