People that know I work from home to make my living are always asking me how I come up with all the content I need. For me personally I take advantage of PLR.

I usually get a blank stare and then need to explain what PLR actually is and just how I use it.

PLR content is also known as Private Label Rights content. I’m sure that cleared it up for you. Allow me to take my explanation a little further then.

Basically PLR means you are giving the right to use the content as your own and you are even able to put your name on it, in most cases.

PLR comes in the form of articles, reports, ebooks as well as audio and video within your own business and claim the author/creator rights for that product without the need to pay any type of royalty or fear of being sued for plagerism.

There are other types of content rights that can come with information products but for me private label rights is the best as I have complete control over the content. I make a lot more money using PLR.

Use Private Label Rights Articles To Products An Ebook

If you were able to buy a set of information products like a collection of articles with PLR, you can easily bring them together into an ebook or report without the risk of being sued for copyright infringement as you own the copyright.

PLR is what I prefer as I have more flexibility with private label rights than these other types of product rights.

What Types of PLR Products Are Available?

Private Label Rights Articles – PLR articles are by far the most common type of private label rights products and are what usually make up the other types of private label rights products like PLR Reports, PLR Ebooks, PLR Audio and even PLR Video.

I seldom see PLR articles individually. They tend to be produced in groups or packages of 5 or 10 articles in the same niche. You can use them as content for your websites, once you’ve modified them to make them your own or even to create an ebook you could sell. I like to sell ebooks on Clickbank so that I can get many other Clickbank affiliates selling for me.

I like to take private label rights articles I purchase, change them up a bit with The Best Spinner and then create a free report I can give away. These free reports are injected with links to my webpages and get me lots of free traffic I can make more money with.

PLR Audio is simply PLR content converted to audio which I think is perfect as I like to walk and learn making private label rights audio perfect.

A picture can say a thousand words, so even though audio is great, PLR video can say so much more. I tend to be able to watch a video once and learn it but with audio I tend to get distracted so it often means I need to listen a couple more times.

How To Use PLR Content

I purchase private label rights articles and then use my copy of The Best Spinner to spin those PLR articles into unique content. Once I have made these articles into unique content again I can publish them on my own sites, article directories.

My work from home affiliate marketing experience was marketing products created by others. That was almost a decade ago and I still do to this day because it makes money for me.

For each product I sell I earn a commission, usually in the 60% range, sometimes higher, sometimes a little less. I have found two places I like best for ebooks. The first is Clickbank while the second is PayDOTCom.

There are great places to find ebooks in your niche that you can promote but they are also great places to sell your own creation and it’s not that hard to create an information product or ebook.

Creating and selling your own ebooks allows you to earn 100% but…

… by creating your own product and promoting them on the Clickbank marketplace or PayDotCom marketplace you will be able to have others sell your products and you make even more money.

If you’re anything like me you probably think it’s too tough to create your own ebook or info product, right? Well step back a bit because you’re wrong. Allow me to point out a few things that will get your started without all the stress.

Step 1. Pick The Actual Niche Market

Whenever I am going to produce an info product I prefer to keep within the niches I’m most experienced with therefore for me  I make e-books around my hobbies and interests and career. So,  that means I write about angling, fly fishing, home gardening, computers and also software, New Brunswick travel, etc.

The few interests I now enjoy are more than enough to keep me writing for years.

Step 2. Going Through The Necessary Research

Step 3. Making Use of Longtail Keywords

When I am looking into any of the niches I advertise to I tend not to immediately go for the prime key phrases. So why? Generally there tends to be far more competition than I care to compete with in order to get good positioning in the search engines. Because of this I like picking extended keyword phrases of at least four words or longer, which will still draw profitable site traffic.

The main difference between long tail keywords and regular keywords are additional words. So a 3 word keyword would become a long tail keyword if you add an extra word or two or even three.

You can create ebooks or digital products in a number of formats but today most people want PDF files. I personally prefer PDFs as I have had issues with Windows and other ebook digital formats.

A good place to use graphics that grab the attention of your potential customer is in your ebook cover. Remember a picture can say a thousand words to choose your images wisely so they are saying what you meant to say.

Step 5. Create An Appealling eBook Cover

Once you have that first product created and promoted you learn the things that could be changed to make you even more money. At that time you have the exact step by step process to make all the information products you want. Now you have an unlimited income opportunity.

So in conclusion selling ebooks is a great way to make money online but if you have an ebook or two in you you can not only make money selling it yourself but you can also make some great income having others sell them for you.

As soon as I get notification I head right over to the site and check it out. I don’t waste time waiting until tomorrow to make a decision. I either buy it on the spot or don’t bother. But either way I make the choice right way so that I can start working the content to make it my own.

I also have an account with Copyscape.com so that I can quickly and easily check the content for uniqueness. I believe I only pay 5 cents for each article I check for uniqueness. It’s actually a module that is in The Best Spinner so I don’t have to go far to check my content.

Being the first to purchase and work PLR gives me a definite edge as I can sometimes use the content as is, if Copyscape finds no duplicates. This allows me to publish content quickly on my own sites before anyone else and then I start modifying the content for other sites and article directories.
