Choosing The Right Niche For Your Web Site

Choosing a good niche subject to base your site around is among the most important aspects of make money online off of your articles. This will give you a foundation to create from and you will target  one general audience with a pack of keywords that they’re that appears to be searching for. You should take each one of these keywords and use it for the basis of one article on each page. In this way, even  though you’re targeting one specific subject, you’ll be sure to interest a wide variety of people  in that one niche. They may also find other pages that interest them, which will keep them returning  for your site to understand new information about the niche subject.

The simplest way to find keywords for the niche subject is to use a keyword software program and type in  the word that’s the subject of your niche. This can generate a list of keywords or phrases that  contain your niche and will also show you approximately how many people search for each word or  phrase. Some software programs may also let you know how many sites are out there to compete with for each  word or phrase (this will help you know if those sites are worth competing with for the number of  searches out there). You then deicide which of these will be most profitable by determining which  have the least amount of competitors, so that you have a chance at making it to the first or second  page of search engine results, but that also have a decent amount of people looking for that keyword  or phrase each month. These would be the keywords or phrases that you will base the pages of your niche  site on.

If there are a number of topics that you like, pick the one which you feel would be easiest to start  with and then, once that website is built and generating some revenue, you can begin another site. The  most profitable website marketers, who use their talent of finding niches and combining that with good  site content and a handful of affiliate links, have a good amount and variety of niche sites that they have started. You are not limited in what you can do with niche website marketing, unless you find  out that you do not have the marketing skills or the needed funding to get it done. Otherwise, the  sky is the limit!

Free Software Offers

Well you have finally done it. You have packed in the rubbish job and told your boss exactly what you  think. You have taken the plunge and made the decision to begin your own affiliate marketing business.  Affiliate Marketing can be very lucrative. It provides people with the opportunity to work for  themselves with very little risk to them. Those that are sales savvy, good at marketing and are not  afraid of a little hard work can often do incredibly well with an internet marketing program.

Affiliate Marketing sounds easy but you do need to exercise some caution. You want to avoid the  affiliate marketing pitfalls that can ruin your business and worse, have you crawling on your hands  and knees back to that boss that now knows how you truly feel.

People tend to get excited when they start a new venture. Unfortunately this excitement and eagerness  can cause them to miss key things in their agreement. Whenever you sign up for an affiliate marketing  program, you will be expected to sign an agreement. The terms and conditions of the agreement for both  sides should be outlined. However, if they would like to hide something this is where they will put it. It  will either be in the small print, so get your magnifying glass out, or they’ll baffle you with  legal language. Either way, you need to read and understand your agreement thoroughly to avoid disappointment and lost earnings.

If you are signing up for a commission based affiliate marketing program then you need to understand  how the term revenue is defined. This is one of the biggest pitfalls of the contracts. They may advertise 5-10% commissions but it all fall on how they define revenue. Most internet marketing  programs will calculate commission on the gross value of the sale. In other words, the amount of money  the site will get at the completion of the sale. You may think that this sounds great. However, you  need to read this part of the agreement very carfully. The amount of the sale almost always excludes  credit card or debit card payment surcharges. They also are likely to exclude payment and delivery  charges as well as any gift wrapping or other surcharges. What sounded like a nice commission is soon  shrinking before your eyes. Ask these questions specifically before you sign an agreement.

Some affiliate programs are even stricter in their definition of revenue. Your commission might be based  on the profit margin of the sold product. For example, if you help sell a book for 20 dollars however the company only makes 10 dollars profit, you’ll receive a percentage of 10 dollars not 20. This can make  a substantial difference in your earnings. Again, make sure you understand these things and ask  specifically what your commission will be based upon. Read your agreement and look out for odd  sounding clauses. These could come back to haunt you later.

Another thing to beware of when you work on commission is returns. Many affiliate marketing companies  only pay commission out on completed sales and then only if the customer keeps the item. If they  return the items your commission might be cancelled. To really rub salt in the wounds, you may be billed for the outstanding commission if you do not have sufficient commission credit built up. Make  sure you understand this before signing on. You cannot expect a company to pay you a commission on an  item that’s returned but make sure you understand their return policy. Find out your rights in this  situation.

Affiliate Marketing can be a great way to make money online. If you have good sales and marketing skills then  it can give you the chance to out them to good use. You’ll be able to work for yourself and not  someone who undervalues and doesn’t appreciate them. One needs to consider internet marketing carefully. Make sure you understand your agreement and exactly what you will be paid for. You don’t  want to have to go crawling back to your boss begging for the old job back.

Writing freelance writing, copywriting, and info entry are all wonderful telecommute job opportunities. If you are ready to maintain a good typing speed and follow instructions comprehensively, you could earn yourself a full-time income performing writing jobs. Smart consumers save money with CONSUMER REPOR...
Image by Newton Free Library via Flickr

I’ll be the first to admit that I have spent a lot of time barking up the wrong trees over the years trying to make money online. Way too much time working from home going in circles making chump change. My goal was to make a living online.

I did find niches where I could make little bits of money. Maybe a sale every week or so but not enough to claim I was making my living at. It seemed I had to keep starting new sites in different niches to make any amount of money.

Making pennies per site just led to having dozens of sites to make any amount of money and that just led to being over worked and sleepless nights.

After months and years of labouring over my many web sites I was frustrated beyond words. Then a light at the end of the tunnel, a friend I met online told me about Michael Jones and The Affiliate Code.

This was a definite turning point in my online experience. From a negative to a very positive experience.

The thing is I had almost all the info in my head needed to succeed but I was so confused and frustrated with all the crap that had been thrown at me in the past I just couldn’t seem to sort it out.

The Affiliate Code and how Michael Jones presented it all in his 8 hours of video training was what unscrambled all that info in my tiny brain. Of course I was very sceptical at the beginning but I trusted Bob, the guy that told me about it, enough to give it a try.

After the first couple of videos it was already starting to become clear that The Affiliate Code was the anwer to all my marketing questions.

Look for more about The Affiliate Code video training in upcoming posts.

CPA or pay per lead affiliate programs are those that offer you to make money online for getting potential customers’ contact information. The information could be as easy as a zip-code or e-mail or may be more detailed and include private information like a Social Security ID.

Over the last 6 months, there was a rising number of pay per lead programs competing for the eye of web designers. The obvious advantage that PPL programs offer is that visitors to your internet site do not have to make any sort of purchase for you to be able to make some money. Although shopping on the internet is starting to become more and more normal, it’s still, and will often always be, easier to give something away then to sell something.

There are many pay per lead affiliate marketing programmes available to you but one of the hottest is Commission Junction. This company has grown to turned into one of the largest affiliate marketing programme networks, with over 1700 merchants and growing each day. There are two reasons that Commission Junction has managed to grow so speedily. First, it offers very competitive pricing for their merchants. 2nd, it continuously improves its own affiliate marketing programme to provide more benefits to affiliates.

Commission Junction also offers a variety of other benefits to affiliates. Unlike almost all other affiliate networks, commissions earned from all merchants are pooled together in one check, and you are paid monthly by CJ without delay ( not by the merchant ). This way, if you join many various offers wthin the program and each of them earn you a bit of money, you’ll get paid the sum of all these. With plenty of other affiliate networks, you would get paid nothing until you reach the standard minimum check sizes they set ( typically $25-100 per merchant ).

Commission Junction also offers a large choice of affiliate marketing programmes that you can promote on your site. This is because they have attracted smaller merchants than some of the other pay per lead affiliate programs. Some of these smaller merchants offer highly targeted products which target a very narrow niche. This. Of course, is really handy if your website is also very targeted, as it makes it more probable that you will find a merchant that’s acceptable for your audience. Programs in CJ also range across all sorts of affiliate commission models besides pay per lead, including PPC and pay per sale.

Yes, more and more folk are earning profits with blogs and there are so many ways to do it!

1. Market your services in your blog. Lots of folk think of blogs as places to vent or roar your viewpoints to the world . This is one use for blogs but you shouldn’t overlook their capacity to make consumers too. Just ensure that your posts are educational and offer price to whoever will be reading them. What kind of services on your Internet marketing blog can you offer? The list is endless… Choose something that you like and do well like writing, design, pay-per-click, SEO, email campaigns, babysitting, training, anything goes.

2. Sell advertising space. This could be the most typical way to leverage your blog to generate income. If you make a well-known blog, it’s reasonably simple to sell ad space. People will come looking! For new or not as well known blogs, services such as Google’s AdSense or BlogAds enable bloggers to earn profits from advertisers. AdSense is free and allows you to select several advertisements that fit with the content of your blog. You get paid when readers click the adverts.

BlogAds connects bloggers with advertisers and takes a commission in return for any ad placements that result. These kinds of programs are the explanations that so many are now making money with blogs.

3. Ask for donations. Some people are leary about this but if your small-business blog supports some sort of cause or issue, it doesn’t hurt to ask for reader support. And readers who become constant to your blog are especially prepared to make a little contribution. Programs like PayPal make it easy to build a simple on-site contribution collection button.

4. Help sell other people’s products and/or services. Let your blog be the passage between readers and online sites offering various goods and services. Just go to ClickBank or Commission Junction and pick out an affiliate product to sell – it should be something that goes together with the content of your blog. Or you can make a new blog specifically for the products you make a decision to promote. If you write articles about certain products that you would counsel, you can get paid a commission when a person takes you up on the offer.

5. Once you’ve got some purchasers, use your blog to keep them. Using a blog to regularly communicate with existing clients as well as other new readers is a way to absolutely inform them about everything your business does. Your posts can enlighten your readers about the full scope of your products or services and even evoke the to refer you to others.

6. Bear in mind that good blogs are those that are updated frequently and often with original and high-quality content. Give your readers a reason to come back to your blog again.

More and more people are making money with blogs. Will you be one of them?

Make Money Scams vs Legit Opportunities

Coins and banknotes, two of the most common ph...
Image via Wikipedia

I have been scammed enough in the past that I tend to be a little sceptical about earning opportunities online, well offline to as far as that goes. It takes a little research to find the genuine make money online opportunities.

Almost all of what you’ll find online is on the up and up. The genuine challenge is weeding thru it all to find something that works for you. These are some common profit making tricks that many online promoting newcomers can fall into.

Get Rich Quick:

A lot of gurus in online marketing use their stories as corroboration of what you can do too if you purchase their products or services. And although it is probably true that these marketers did make an enormous sum of money awfully quickly, there are 3 things you should understand about that;

1) They probably weren’t completely new to the industry when they started making the money…

2) They’d have used another methods or programs to earn them this sum of money ( so they may not be revealing everything in what they sell to you…

3) They might have also spent a massive amount of cash to be ready to earn this great amount of money. While the products and/or services are most likely valuable and legitimized, you shouldn’t expect them to make you rich quick.

Easy Money Making:

There are quite a few mechanical systems out there. And yes, they are real and yes, they are easy. But they can also be expensive and not incredibly effective since they appeal to so many individuals that are attempting to go the easy route. The reality is that making profits online doesn’t need to be complex – it can be simple – but getting results does require effort.

The general public start out on the wrong foot with systems which profess to to be easy and profitable. When they aren’t so easy or profitable, it’s simple to give up and deem these systems “make money scams”.

Pyramid Schemes:

There are numerous sorts of legitimate programs ( like social marketing or MLM businesses ) that offer you commissions if you induct others into the business. However, if you come across a program that only offers you cash if you induct other members but offers no real service, this is a clean-cut pyramid scheme and swindle. Fortunately, the FTC is quick to crack down on these types of activities so you shouldn’t run across them too often.

Pay affiliate marketing programs:

Some affiliate program claim that they can make you lots of cash, but require you to buy their product or charge a sign up fee before you can start promoting what they offer. Bear in mind that you don’t have to pay for an associate product to promote it (though there are reasons you may want to do that). Most affiliate product and service owners will not ask their affiliate to pay money before they earn.

The Better Business Bureau and federal Trade Commission offer additional information about avoiding rip-offs, plus tactics to confirm offers and file complaints. Your state lawyer general’s office might also have express or general information about earn cash scams.

Never has the opportunity to make money online been greater than it is today. Furthermore, it has never been simpler for you to have an online presence.

When we started to market online eleven years ago, the only way to get free traffic was to be ranked on the first page of Google. The only other option was to pay to get prospects by advertising on Google.

PPC advertising for our two best keywords cost twelve-dollars and fifteen-dollars per click, respectively. It is clear to see that one could run through thousands of dollars in a short period of time advertising on Google. We were just starting out so the idea of spending thousands of dollars in paid advertising wasn’t practical. So,  we worked hard at Search Engine Optimization and ended up ranked in the top four positions on Google for our most sought after keywords. Today, it is not unusual to hear of an online business to rank on the first page of Google within a couple of days, but it was highly unusual to get there in 6 months when we started marketing online.

Today, ranking on the first page of Google is great, but it’s not nearly as vital as it once was because now there are many other paths for people to find your website on the internet. {They can stumble upon you through blogs, social networking sites, YouTube, inexpensive advertising, and many other ways.}

In fact, at a Jeff Johnson seminar I attended, Jeff produced a video to promote a popular digital camcorder and ranked on the first page of Google by the end of the three-day seminar. If you would like to watch some very instructive videos on internet marketing, you can find a collections by Jeff on YouTube.

Facebook now has more searches made daily than Google, and it didn’t even exist eleven years ago. How does that fact influence any strategy you construct to market your business? If you are going to market on the internet, you have to be on Facebook.

Eleven years ago, you had to be familiar with HTML code (Hyper Text Markup Language) to construct a website to have an online presence. Now, you don’t need to know anything about HTML programming and you can build a blog using many Web 2.0 websites. You can set up your marketing page, monetize it and start marketing online in a day.

Only a small part of the world’s residents was online eleven years ago. The latest stats show that in 2000, there were 360-billion people on the Internet and today there are 1.73-trillion people online. In other words, one out of every four people in the world is online. This is a enormous market, no matter how you slice it.

In my judgement, there has never been a better moment in time to make money online than there is today. Will you take advantage of this huge opportunity is the only question that remains to be answered?

Niche Affiliate Marketing System (NAMS) 2

The internet is a great place to earn millions. Affiliate marketing is so famous among many simply because of this reason. Unfortunately there are affiliates who carry out different marketing campaigns without a proper affiliate marketing strategy. The problem arises mostly with novice affiliates who are not aware of the market. The moment they see that there is a great opportunity of being rich in a short span of time, most affiliates dive into their marketing campaigns without thinking twice.

If you are a serious kind of entrepreneur who is aware of the market trends and want to start a reputed business, it is always better to have an affiliate marketing strategy as taught in Mafioso Marketing 2 before executing it.

Your affiliate marketing strategy should definitely focus on the entire sales chain, starting from beginning to end. A potential customer who simply visits a website won’t be enough. For a conversion to happen, he or she has to click on the advertisement that leads to your website and there onwards to the merchants sales point.

When a potential customer is guided to your website, your affiliate marketing strategy should cover steps that are needed to be taken in order to convert the clients into ‘leads’. Having a website, especially the homepage that is looking professional plus has an opt-in list where the visitors name and their email addresses are captured, there should be an affiliate marketing strategy to get these leads into the list. In addition to this, another affiliate marketing strategy should be executed in order to carry out an email series in order to turn this lead into a customer.

The moment you get a lead does not always mean that you’ve got yourself a customer. If you are to have sales and make a good profit, there should be post-sale follow ups. All these should be included in the affiliate marketing strategy.

Having a good affiliate marketing strategy is the first step in attracting customers. An attractive, user-friendly website with a number of offers can definitely attract potential clients. In order to increase sales, developing a healthy relationship with customers is essential. Always give a reason for the customer to return to your website in the future. This is also true if you’re running a mlm business

Affiliate marketing has become a thriving business in today’s world. As a player in the market, having an affiliate marketing strategy that will set you apart from the rest will be advantageous.
