Based on my own experiences, I believe that if given enough organization and thought, just about any network marketer who uses a blog or website will probably find that whether or not it was intentional, they actually organized a network marketing campaign.  But, just because you’ve been advertising, that doesn’t mean that it’s been done efficiently. In this article, we’ll examine some important ways network marketers may already be marketing their business online and suggest how one can do it more efficiently.

For instance, do you have a top level domain website for your website business? Network marketers who answer yes to this question are already marketing their products or services online just because they have a website online. Having a blog gives you the ability for curious Internet users to gain access your website. You may not be actively marketing your website but you might still discover that your website generates interest in your products despite the lack advertising; this is called passive marketing.

Do you participate in message boards and add a link to your website in your signature copy? Network marketers who answer yes to this question are already marketing their website online. Experienced network marketers understand the importance of participation in industry related message boards to create an interest in their services, establish themselves as knowledgeable about the industry and offer a link to their own website even if it is in the signature line of their posts. Make sure you include relevant keywords in the content of your website. Internet marketers who answer yes to this question are already marketing their business by optimizing their website for their relevant keywords. These search engine optimization (SEO) affects the websites whether or not they were even aware of the idea of keyword density and how it helps to SEO a site. Network marketers will likely use certain words often depending on the type of products and services they offer just because it is just logical to do it. This tendency, however, might result in search engines boosting your website PR rank for these particular keywords. The concept of Search Engine Optimization is much more complex than just using keywords frequently, but network marketers can gain some benefit just by naturally applying relevant keywords and phrases to their website. 

Have you asked for feedback from your customers? This is yet another example of how internet business owners may be accidentally marketing their business on the Internet. Most network marketers do realize the importance of asking for feedback from customers for business purposes and network marketers who offer products online might solicit feedback with online surveys. Even though network marketers might be doing this simply for business reasons the fact that it is done online makes it fall into the category of Internet marketing.
