It was only recently I found out about online surveys earning people money but before that I used the internet just for emailing. I was very suspicious when my friend told me about it all. I asked her why anyone would want to pay me for my opinion and I wanted to know what you have to do.

I haven’t got rich yet and I don’t expect to but over the last few months I have earned a little extra. Once in a while I use the money to treat the family to something a bit special. Sometimes you get a few dollars and other times it’s not so much but it varies from company to company. It’s great that someone actually takes notice of what I think and it only takes minutes to complete most of these online surveys.

There is a very simple reason that you can earn a reward. It matters what you think about a product because if a company spends millions developing something they want it to sell to people like you. I have filled out surveys on subjects as diverse as make-up, my opinions about politicians and even dating sites. If you don’t have an opinion about something or simply don’t know anything about it you can usually answer ‘don’t know’.

Some days I get surveys to do and some days I don’t but it’s a good feeling to make some additional income when they do come through. I like to fill out surveys when the kids have gone to bed and I find it a relaxing thing to do.

I think everyone should cconsider doing this because it is such a simple thing and you can do it any time of day. Everyone has a view about things so why not get paid for telling people what you think. I have seen people saying you could make lots of money by getting paid to fill out surveys and I guess that is possible. My experience suggests you couldn’t do online surveys to make a living as there aren’t enough of them to make that sort of money.

Companies know that the fastest way to get the facts about what people think of the products or services they offer is by using the internet. The company would pay a survey company to prepare a survey that asks what they need to know and then ask it’s member panel to answer those questions.

People who maych the criteria of the survey would then be invited to take part and answer the questions given about whatever the subject of the survey is. People generally expect to get something for their trouble so some sort of reward is usually offered. Some of the paid online surveys offer money or gift certificates and occasionally they may offer a prize draw to all who complete the survey.
