When I created my first website I believed that it would be easy to make a good living online. If thought that if I created a website, added some decent products I’d be soon making tons of money from the flood of customers who wanted to buy my products. Oh, did I ever know nothing! Optimize your website because an optimized website is like being located in the middle of no where with no roads or maps showing your location. I learned that I was totally wrong after signing up for an training program that showed me the correct method. If you are reading this article now, then you are are obviously a prime candidate for some make money ideas.  I will now tell you the most important thing that you need to know if you do want to make a comfortable online income. Showing in the first page of Google is your ultimate goal!

If you wish to succeed online, you will want to find a product niche that has a high enough search volume and low competition. You would be recommended to choose a niche product such as “bulova watch bands” and do not choose products such as laptops, watches, cameras, etc because you would be competing against the “Big Boys” who have had a substantial online presence for many years. Keywords include phrases and single words. I search term such as “bulova watchbands” will obviously have a lot less competition than a single keyword such as “bulova”. Using the many online research tools available you can check the demand and competition for specific niche products. In order to land on the first page of Google, you will need to research the webpage keyword and optimize your webpage with this keyword.

To find out what your competition will be, Google the keyword “bulova watch bands”. If the results show less than 3 million search results then this means that you have a possible winner. You have a good chance of finding a winning niche product if the search results are low which means less competition for that keyword.

Next, you will need to research the demand, in other words the monthly searches. For this example we will use the online Google external Keyword tool which is only one of many free online tools available. Enter the keyword phrase “bulova watch bands” and check the results. You will come up with several variations of the phrase including “Bulova watch band” and “Bulova watchbands”, etc. A winning product will show 500-1000+ monthly searches (demand) in Google! You will be able to send more visitors to your website if there is enough demand.

Next, you will need to locate a source for your product by Googling for dropshippers, affiliate programs or digital products that fit into your chosen niche product. To ensure you site is fully optimized, the key ingredients are entering your keyword into the meta tags and description, the page title and in the very first sentence of your website. I would also suggest that you choose a domain name that includes youir keyword as well as entering your keyword in the H1 tags of your site. Other closely related niche products such as more Bulova products or other name brand watch bands can then be optimized on other pages in your website using the same research methods. Put these make money ideas into affect and you will have yourself a winning product! I would also suggest that you consider signing up for some training videos that can be found online for a very reasonable price.
