My Secret Work From Home Website Promotion Strategy
Ok, since the intention of this article is to give you some ammo, and get you results fast, I’m going to hop right into the strategy. What I’m about to share with you is a four step website promotion strategy that I use to get ridiculous amounts of visitors to my websites. I recommend doing this once per day, but if you’re just too dang busy, you can shorten the process to once per week (although you’ll get 1/7th of the results). Alright, let’s get on with the strategy:
1. The first step is to create a piece of educational content. It doesn’t have to be ‘killer’, it just has to be educational. It’s funny, but about a fifth of everything you create will give you more than 80% of your traffic. There are some ‘super gurus’ out there that try and develop training to teach you how to only tackle the ‘heavy hitter’ articles, but you’re better off just creating tons of content and dealing with the ratios. Videos work this way too. Simply research and provide valuable education on your specific niche, and put it up on a website. You could put it on a blog, an article site, or a video site if that’s your gig.
2. Step two is simple, you make a video and simply announce your article with it, broadcasting it to as many websites as you possibly can. Video marketing is one of my favorite promotion tactics because you get the search engines picking up your content 10 times faster than any other method. Confused? All you need to do is sit in front of a webcam and talk for a minute or so about your cool new article. I use a simple service called Traffic Geyser to promote my videos online, because it’s easy to use and it’s the best service like this that exists. When you send your videos out to the sites, point the links back to your original piece of content. You can use an awesome free service called TubeMogul as well, but it’s not nearly as effective in Traffic Geyser.
3. In step 3, you write a simple, brief article talking about your content, or maybe even create a variation of the same content and broadcast it to the article directories. I like articles because they rank really well in the search engines and they get you long term, residual traffic if you use them consistently. Articles also increase your visibility and credibility with prospects by making you appear as the ‘expert’ in your niche. I use another cool piece of software for this.
4. Do it every day. Look, this is a simple process, and it will work for you like crazy if you follow it. The cool thing is that this four step process works even if your content isn’t the best around.Honestly, even if your articles stink and your videos are second class, it will still work. (Of course, it will work much better if they’re killer). You need to do this consistently for the next 100 days to get the same kind of results that myself and others have.
Why should you keep it up over the next 100 days? It’s simple, because if you do what I just mentioned for the next 100 days, you’ll have so much traffic, links to your site, and leads coming through whatever system that you use, that you’ll flip out with excitement. (It works that well). If you stick with the strategy, you’ll get results, and I’ll see you at the top of the search engines.
