I have said, probably too many times but, I love the fact I work from home.

I have been a workaholic for most of my life. It has caused me no end of problems, mostly family related because I never had time for anything but work. So for that reason I want to leave you with a few tips about the work from home niche.

For me personally all of the money I earn comes from working my online businesses like a business. I don’t do it this way because I have to I work from home because I prefer working alone most days. It’s great.

Working from your home is quite a bit different than it is working in the real world, but if you follow a few tips you will do much better.

The following tips are things I had to deal with and did. Once I work out the details my work from home business became much more enjoyable, plus I have more time to enjoy the benefits of working from home.

Work From Home Tip #1

Be willing to dedicate as much time as you can to get your work from home business going but don’t over work yourself to the point you begin to regret the decision to work at home. Burn out only creates quitters.

Work From Home Tip #2

Stay focused on one thing until it either pays off or it’s time to move on to the next thing. I usually give myself a minimum of 3 months before I move on. That seems to be just the right amount of time to see results.

Work From Home Tip #3

Please do not disturbSetup a schedule and follow it so that it becomes routine. If you set a time to work and a time to play you can tell your friends and family so that they know not to disturb you while you’re working.

It took me a while to get my family to respect that fact that when I am in my office I am not to be disturbed unless it’s very important. I still have to remind them every so often, but they are much better than they were.
